Meet Darryl Dote: Designer

From as early as I can remember, I have always appreciated the art of good design. When everybody else was printing their projects and reports in the typical dot-matrix font found on your standard printer, I experimented with other printing programs to create typographical layouts and professional-looking pieces. This led me to pursue journalism and yearbook as a second hobby during my junior high and high school years.

In 1992, I was introduced to a brand new product on the school’s Macintosh computers – Aldus Pagemaker. From that point on, I was enthralled. Adding to that was the development of the internet and the mainstreaming of Photoshop, and by the time I had graduated from high school, I had mastered everything I needed to produce professional-quality programs, magazines, newsletters, and even websites.

Since that time, I have used my skills to develop hundreds of designs for local artists, schools, churches, and other companies across the US. With my training in journalism and public relations, I can provide you with everything you need to promote your company, product, or event in a professional manner — without breaking the bank!
